Winter Wonderland (364)

As we had no snow at all up to mid January I had my hope for no snow.  Anyway, looking at it is ok as the wind makes great art of the snow .

The sunny photos are from today and the other ones from yesterday. That’s how it changed in 24 hours, and in that time we had no more snow so it’s only changed by the strong wind.

Wow, you guys got buried! The snow does make for some beautiful scenes and you captured them brilliantly!

We have had NO measurable snow yet…just frigid cold temps. I have a bad feeling we will get nailed in Febr.

Did you have those Icebergs shipped in or did Mother Nature deliver them?

Those are some huge drifts, and they do make for beautiful photos.

Those are some impressive drifts! I’m happy to not be seeing snow out my window.

The snow looks so pristine, not a footprint in sight.

I know it’s cold and wet but it sure is beautiful too!

I always look for lines and shapes in wind blown snow. That’s quite a bit too!

Snow sculptured by the wind is so fascinating to look at as long as it doesn’t hinder travel! Great examples in these photos that you’ve taken. I hate trying to travel when the wind is blowing the snow around and there is zero visibility…
